I don’t do text posts very often, but whenever there is a notable influx of new followers I like to just take a second to say hello and welcome :) A very brief tour - make note of the tags page which sorts all of the posts by source, subject, medium, and many other things. Also direct your attention to the recommended reading page for other blogs and books on animation. Of course if you are familiar with tumblr you know that the archive view makes it easy to get a broad view of the 350+ posts the blog currently has, and feel free to drop me an ask with any questions, suggestions, or just to say hi. If you are not much for tumblr and prefer twitter, you can follow along there to see what and when the blog updates.

I had to shift around some of my gif hosting last week, and it has come to my attention that that means a large percentage of old posts that were reblogged will now have broken gifs in them. Sorry about that. I think I’m finally settled with where the gifs are now though, so it shouldn’t be a problem in the future.

and since I’m typing anyway, I just want to say hi to all the new followers and thanks to everyone for all the likes, reblogs, and nice notes about the blog. It really amazes me every day how many people come through here :)
